Speed camera & demerit pts & Light

aiyo.. got a traffic offence..
$150+6 demerit pts due to speeding at hougang area..
rd impose is 60kmph...i drove 84kmph..
sigh... its hidden camera ba..
nxt time will be careful liao...

Anyway all along i thot speed camera @ highway capture ppl speeding from front...
(Means i'm driving n can see camera in front of me)
then Ling told me tat speed camera will catch ppl speeding from back!!
(means i've drove pass camera n camera is BEHIND me)
Aiyo dangerous.. cos normally will speed up after drive pass camera..
lucky so far no gana...

-Licence will be suspended if one gana 24 or more demerit points within 24 months.
-My traffic offence is on 1/4/2009, gana 6 demerit points.
If i maintain a 12-month free of offences period counting from 1/4/2009 onwards, my 6 demerit points will be 'renewed' and i will have a clean driving record again on 1/4/2010.

I'm always curious on n off light will waste energy or not..
cos i've always heard ppl saying "u waste more energy when on light awhile n off it.. n on it again later n off it.."

so i went online to find an answer..
