my yummy healthy lunch

rem i join the "ba gua" slimming..
my 1st meal is usually my lunch liao..

so this is wat i cook/eat every afternoon.

1)Buy thigh chicken from NTUC
2)Defrost it..

3)prepare ginger... i love ginger..

4)cut open the thigh meat abit.. so easier to cook..

5)once water boil, throw ginger n all the chicken in... put abit salt..

6)wait for it to boil..

7) in between, scoop up the chicken n put in again.. this is to ensure no blood ard the bone area...

8)while waiting for chicken to boil... boil for ard8-10 mins la..

i prepare my daily drink...

No sugar soya drink...

this is the only"can fill stomach" drink...

cannot drink milo... can drink coffee/tea without sugar..

so soya taste better...

real healthy drink.. no sugar..

or can buy this too... no sugar too... taste nice once used to it...

i also buy powdered form.. haha.. cheaper..
also if i need any taste in food... this is wat i can input... NO salt!

9)oki... my chicken ready!

simple cooking... yummy too...

cannot drink the soup ah...

high protein meal...

10)optional: cooking hard boil egg with the remaining soup...

can only eat egg white... can eat many many.. as long no egg york..

11) ready lunch...

yumsss...

Dinner... vege only... no soup.. no rice etc..

but i also eat meat la... only vege very poor thing..

new lappy bag

went taka..

always wanted to buy a new laptop bag..

had considered prada etc.. but too ex la.. 1000+ for laptop bag...

then saw this nice design... $300+.. got discount to $219..

i still got taka got voucher of $160, which i got from our D&D..

so end up i only pay $59.. heee..

real bag look nicer then in pic la..

thereafter went into kate spade... saw a nice laptop bag! $600 only...

but i jus bought this.. arghh..

nvm la.. save money ba..

xmas

xmas is coming...
i totally dun have buying present habit..
so din really join in the massive jam of shopping..

city area is so crazily jam though it wkday afternoon...

im so looking fwd to xmas though...
cos it marks the end of the yr soon!

been rather lucky this yr...
esp in sales...

prudential awards nite

i'm currently 3rd for gp biz in the whole of Prudential!
how cool is tat...
im so excited!
going up on Prudential stage facing all Pru consultants..

i hope there wont be major changes tat push me out of top 3...
then a problem is... wat to wear!?

oh no must slim down else later look so fat on stage how..
haha..

anyway lifes been mundane...
watch show, home, slimming, appt...
nothing much...

last wkend went chill out..
but i think im old liao..
dun really enjoy going pub liao...
or maybe not the correct crowd..
cos only me, dear n carol...
so abit boring...

prawning.. slimming.. work

went prawing with my loves...
2 hrs=$25
initially quite excited..
after 15 min of no prawning got hooked..
get bored...

then after 1.5hrs..
im so looking fwd to go home...

but at the last 30min,
i accidentally found the gist to prawning...
manage to prawn 4-5 prawns at last 30min!

instead of waiting for the "float" to sink below the water (means got prawn bite the food)..
i gently pull up the float to chk every 10-20seconds...
AND it works!
means the float mite NOT move or sink into water even when the prawn are biting the food...
thus need to frequently pull up te float abit to see is there any prawn eating bait...

our happy makan...

mon went ba guan slimming..
tue n wed n fri also went...
5 days lose 3 kg..

of cos got dieting...
but i can eat either chicken, duck, beef, fish for lunch..
without skin n sauce...
no rice n noodles too...
No pork allowed...
she say pork more fats content...

dinner only vege cook in soup..
no fried vege...
cannot drink soup too...

must drink lots of no sugar soya bean drink and/or bean curd..
also lots of egg whites....

so far so good...
still tolerable=the "cannot anyhow eat" feeling & the ba guan painness..

also it makes it really easy for me to pack food outside...
like i can buy white chicken thigh or drumstick without skin, fish soup, duck meat with braised egg n tofu etc...

i din know its quite messy to eat this...
it'll like splash red juice when open it using hand...
taste nice... sweet n abit sour...
but the seed is quite irritating..

it took me quite awhile to slowly "scrap" the fruits out..

if eat 1 by 1 is fine...

i eat spoon by spoon, then the seed is overwhelming..

so i jus spit out the seeds...

dun think i'll try again..

too troublesome to eat it..

pre-cancerous cell

went for papsmear..
result=abnormal..

so i went for colposcope, biopsy n some other chk...

found out tat i've got pre-cancerous cell...
it will lead to cancer in long term if not treated...

so i'll be going surgery in few wks time to remove it..
its only a day surgery so not so serious..
also it will not affect my future pregnancy..
so ok la..

this is how the cell inside my cervix looks like...
yucky hor..
its very small but the scope expand it till so big..

so my dear frs, pls go for papsmear regularly..
no joke man..

cervix cancer is not like other cancers..
cervix cancer can be prevented one..
as long do regular papsmear...

i'm not really very scared..
cos i'm fully covered for pte hospital..
i was still joking if its spreading cancer, then i can claim ins to buy a hse oh..
haha...

also i feel tat i dun really have any regrets in life...
good husband, happy family, good income n frequent travels..
i dun have big commitment tat i cant let go..
so even if i die, is also ok...

dun worry.. im not depresssed or in suicidal mode..
jus tat its fine if i jus pass away tmr..

prob the only small regret is dun have a baby for my grandma to see..

but then once i've got baby..
then its a big commitment tat i have to be ard liao oh...
somehow, i dun feel like wanting a baby now though...

Sat nite is Halloween's Nite...
i always tot tat sg dun really 'celebrate' this nite...
I was horribly wrong...

dear went out with chris...
I din go though...
he told me clark quay is filled with 'well dressed' ppl...
all dressed in halloween theme.. ghosts monsters etc..
very interesting & FUN!..

then he went zouk...

today dear acc me go ntuc buy fruits...
i bought lots of fruits...
chinese pear, red n green apples n carrot!..

once home, i prepared 4 red apples n 2 carrot...
ready to be squeeze!

see the residue...

the washing is abit tiring though..

yummy red apple carrot juice...
nice n sweet..
have to scoop away the top layer of duno wat thing..

yummy fresh fruit juice

tat time i ordered green apple juice n it cost $3..
very nice but expensive too...

so i've always been wanting to buy a juicer...
this one cheap cheap.. $33...

i squeeze 5 green apples n only manage to squeeze 1 and half cup...
yummy.. happy..
i can have healthy fruit juice anytime!

after throw away the old big computer monitor,
dear went to buy wireless keyboard.. $79..
the "mouse" is the rite side.. touch kind..
like laptop.. no need real mouse..
how convenient is tat..

so now we use our new TV as our PC monitor too!
happy...
now can watch online show like DVD!!
big big screen!...
best of all, we can operate on bed...
using the wireless keyboard...

Pru API Luncheon 20-10-09

Was invited to Pru API Luncheon on 20-10-09..
cos i'm top 3 consultant in the whole of Prudential for my big Gp insurance in 3rd quarter..
keke....

its held at "Absinthe"
48 bt pasoh rd..
theres 2 rows..
Pru book the whole place for lunch..
cool hor..

my organisation occupy 1/3 of the attendance...
proud rite.. haha
we've got abt 10 of us..
whereas other is is 1 by 1...
so we sit together n do not feel lonely..

we reach punctually at 12.30pm...
the rest reach quite late oh...
the lunch start ard 1pm..

my love lifen is there too...she's top in her director level too..
beside her are BDO n CEO of Pru...

the octopus is yummy..

duck leg.. i dun really like..

so din finish it..

there are still tarts n ice cream..

but i need to rush off for appt..

i left 2.30pm...

n the lunch has not ended yet..
