i initially die die dun want white..

dear like recliner,
i think L shape better for father-in-law cos his knee cant bend to"close" the recliner..
so better to have a L shape for him to lie down..
n notice that its 4 seater!
so far all i see is 3 seater..
n this 4 seater length jus nice for our hse.. 275cm..
n the back is rather comfy yet the seat is quite firm yet comfy too..

we went audio hse to buy washer + dryer + fridge cos got the "wow me deal" from DBS
we also got our sound system, 55" tv + ktv set etc from audio hse = $7000+

Lesson Learnt
1) If not much budget, DO NOT do too many lightings stuffs..
dun play with lightings n cove lights n glass cos it'll be EXPENSIVE!
cos its a chain effect..
glass walls, mirrors n glass, electric pts n buy lightings is gona kill...
2) There tends to be many hidden cost in ID's quotes..
so dun be lured by low quotations..
go get more quotations n see the breakdown to know which one charge how much..
then u can compare..
but sometimes the comparing is super tiring too..
my ID dun have hidden cost..
everything already stated out...
tats why it appears more than others too..
3) when meet ID, tell them only when u confirm confirm wana hack/change some place.
eg, we didnt intend to hack/lay tiles in maid's room n 3rd toilet in initial design..
so inside quote there's no such cost..
thereafter, when reno start, mum-in-law tell ID maid's floor quite old,
can do over-lay free for us..
ID Joe then agree to over-lay FREE for us..
for 3rd toilet too!
So i realise some things dun say 1st, when do then say, then maybe can be free or top up abit..
4) When tell electrician where u want wat electric pts,
jus say those confirm confirm want pts...
cos initially we jus say "put ba, put 1st, jus put"
then end up $11k !!!..
I realise thereafter can "cham xiong" with ID to nego with electrician to add some pts for FREE..
same concept at pt 3.
5) same for buying vanity n curtains as above pt 3 n 4..
like after confirm wat u want, then ask for free gift like wall hook, or something small...
for curtain,we spend $4000+..
i choose not so good material 1st..
when they come for measurement, i intend to ask to change to better quality one for FREE
or maybe top up abit...
havent try yet...
will try soon n see work or not..
will update if it works..
6) After buying the things or when going to pay, i always ask for free gift...
like i got free energy savings lights, free dustbin, free overlay tiles etc..
7) will be good if u can bring a "super know how to bargain friend" to buy things..
but must see ppl got time or not...
im not gd at bargaining...
dun have the energy n time..
i jus know how to ask for free gift n ask for discount...

And i think im gona stay in this hse for at least 15-20 yrs in order to maximise the $$ we spent...
sob n heartpain...
sometimes get low mood when found out there Maybe cheaper alternative...
but lucky dear always accompany me go buy stuffs..
so im not alone to decide...

n we din quarrel, n tats very important...
cos i seen frs quarreling over wedding banquets,
unhappy over wedding photos etc...
so im blessed...
n im most looking fwd to sleeping on my $2000+ mattress!!
