French cuisine at Infuzi 17-3-10

last time dear went Infuzi with guoxiang..
expensive oh.. each person eat $200+..
i've always wanted to try.. cos dear say its very nice..
nice atmosphere with good wine!
with a chef explaining each dish..

anyway guoxiang is a french cuisine chef..
he's a tutor teaching french cuisine too..
so he knew this Infuzi's chef cum boss....

so we had French cuisine at Infuzi
empty cos its located at bio polis, so dinner time is usually no crowd one..
anyway this dinner comes up to $150/pax!!
interesting ah.. deco quite simple la..
tomato n walnut bread..
1) loch salmon... quite nice..
guoxiang say this is the proper way to put knife n fork..
but he say nowadays aga aga can liao..
2) spinach. duck liver. Foie gras ('fwah grah')
i went online to chk out foie gras..
the "origin" of
foie gras is rather cruel..
Dear n guoxian fr love it..
i find it yucky... i dun like..
guoxiang say eat it with spinach will taste better..
true leh.. but i still dun like..
put like this also can...
3) roasted sea bream...
skin is crispy.. quite nice la..
the fork keep changing after every 3 dishes...
hse pour wine..
total 3 of us drank 1 bottle...
4) ravioli prawn. Italian dumpling.
abit like chinese dumpling..
put like this..
5) roasted pasta n scallop..
i like this.. nice..
6) duck leg
7)mango sorbet .
Sorbet is sometimes served between courses as a way to cleanse the palate before the main course.
Sour sour.
Refreshing, yums.. i like!
8) short rib. beef.. super tender..
9) white chocolate mousse & Raspberry Parfait.
upper layer is mousse,
middle layer is 'pop pop' candy.. we always eat this when we r kids.. pop pop in mouth..
lower layer is caramel.
i like...
dear camomile...
Hse pour red wine
kitchen..
so empty...
Infuzi....
overall dear like it alot..
i so so only..
i think my taste buds duno how to appreciate good food..
i like chinese cuisine more...
prefer zi char... haha
abit heart pain spend $150 for one meal...
$150/pax hor...
