Retreat & Interesting pointers abt insurance career

ho ho.. i'm back from retreat at m'sia Pulai Spring..
aiyo.. put on 1.5kg for jus 2 days!! arggg..

isnt the view nice... alot ppl go there for golf..

As usual, we had games..

Quite fun.. tired too.. our gp is call "Sure Win'..

& even though we anyhow play play, we still win in the end.. haha..

Boss shared with us some interesting pointers of being in the insurance career..

i think its interesting too...

1) Insurance is the Legendary Career cos its the only career that gives ppl hope when bad things occur (illness/death etc).

2) Insurance career always believe in miracle..

3) Its simple yet complicated..

4) Insurance business is easy yet difficult..

5) This career has unlimited potential.. but alot ppl prefer to remain domant..

6) There's lots of freedom in this career.. yet its the freedom tat cause some to leave..

7) Ins is sth useless when dun need... yet the most useful/hopeful when need arise. (it's like carrying an umbrella in bag.. it so heavy n troublesome when there's no rain.. but it comes in handy when it rains suddenly)

8) Ppl always take note of extra service for buying insurance (eg got free gifts ma?) But forgot the need for the basic service (eg when claim arise can claim ma)..

9) Ins is the most intangible thing, but also the most valuable..

10) Before sign plan, client n me r strangers.. after signing plan, i become 1 of the 'closest' fr of client..

11) When we achieve our mission (eg did a claim for client), this career will recieve alot of praises.. but when we just focus on the commission/money, its the most disdained career.

12) insurance is a business/career.. but alot ppl treat it as a job..

13) it can suddenly bring u to hell (eg client rejection).. it can also bring u to heaven (eg when client say "ok, i buy".. happy man..)

14) its very competitive.. but we r willing to share..

15) Although in order to do well need experience, some ppl can also do very well without experience.. (this is really very true..)

16) Its a very individual business.. yet teamwork is crucial for success..

17) It can lead ppl to success while some will still fail..
