credit card comparison

I did some comparison with mkt hot hot credit cards…

1)std chart Prucard
2)citibank dividend card
3)UOB ONE card
4)POSB Everyday card

1)Std chart Prucard

-Mine is Pruprestige so std pts more..
Spend $1667=std 500=can redeem $22.50 pru premium
Rebate rate=1.35%

-if its normal Prucard
Spend $2500=std 500=can redeem $22.50 pru premium
Rebate rate=0.9%

-u get the rebate by redeeming pts

2)Citibank Dividend card

-Petrol=5% rebate (Esso got 14.5% rebate!)
-Dining=2% rebate
-Groceries=2% rebate (exclude Carrefour)
-pharmeceuticals=2% rebate
-others=0.5% rebate (including Carrefour)
www.citibank.com.sg

-u get the rebate by a cheque (sent to u from Citibank).

3)UOB ONE card

-U spend fix $300/mth continuously for 3 mths, will get $30.
Jan/feb/march charge $300/$300/$300, will get $30 at april.

-U spend fix $800/mth continuously for 3 mths, will get $80.
Jan/feb/march charge $800/$800/$800, will get $80 at april.

-Rebate=10%
-but if u spend $1000/$1000/$1000, rebate is STILL $80.

-go cathay use U, only $6/tix!!
-still got some small perks below
Eg.. tue- Free small popcorn and drink combo for every pair of tickets purchased at all Cathay Cineplexes2.

MY CONCLUSION

-UOB ONE card is a MUST have
Charge ur regular premium, HP bill, or anything u need to pay every mth to this card.
Make it exactly $800/mth.. so can get $80 every 3 mths.
Movie at cathay only $6 oh..

-Std Chart Prucard is a MUST have IF u have Pru plans.
Charge misc spending to this card if no special discounts for ur purchase.
Eg buy LV, use std chart card.

-Citibank dividend Good only for drivers..
Go pump Esso.. get 14.5% rebate.. its a lot..
Guess Esso is the only most worth thing..
Else dining (2%) may be can use too..

-POSB Everyday card.. better for starhub ppl, n those who pay utilities
If u always go Watson or Carrefour, then get 3% n 5% respectively.
Other than tat.. nothing much..
