move in 1 week

suppose to really move in on 30/6..
in lunar calendar its an auspicious date to move in..
MIL want one.. im not into such things..

anyway as reno still not ready on 30/6...
MIL jus brought charcoal, rice, oil, salt into hse as a formality...

parents in law's tenant will shift into their hse on 5/7, hence we die die have to vacate by 4/7..
so my 1st overnight is on 4/7..
its abit rush..
but since its good tenant, we jus have to rush la..

basically we took 4 days to shift everything...
we din engage movers..
dear's bro + sis + bro-in-law helped us move...
dear's been bzbzbzbzbz...

below mess is just 5% of wat we've cleared...

reason is its just across a lane..
n movers only move big boxes...
me n MIL pack everything into those big red plastic bags...
once transport over, we'll unload...
thus unloading/unpacking is faster...

if we use movers, most prob we cant find all things n will take ages to unpack...
though some ppl say we shd engage movers...
but i think wat we do makes things easier now tat we r here...

till now is already 1 week...
still haven unpack my stuffs...
but daily necessity stuffs is still reachable/foundable...

even move in le, i still had alot of things to buy...
its to ensure/help parents in law put things the way i want..
as in neater n cleaner...
im a very organised person la...
will share wat r some really good stuffs u can get for ur hse for it to be well organised in later post...

current is mixed feeling...
happy with my hse, my bed..
unhappy that i seem to have endless hsework to do...
things tat wkly helper cant really help much one...
cos its a daily need to be done thing..

like refill fridge cold water, refill water dispenser, wash clothes + put into dryer + wait 2 hrs for dryer to dry + hang to air + clean entertainment rm + clear store rm + ............. endlessssssss

and lots of misc stuffs which i dont wish to mention...
so kinda unhappy...

in fact cried a few times..
cos of stress + ........

the mess in my room..
been super duper lazy to touch it...
there's some more at wardrobe...

my $200 worth of towels....
1 colour for each person....
also bought for dear's nieces + sister etc...

 $400+ worth of hsehold stuffs...
excluding towels...

ending off @ 230am...
jus finish airing dried clothes etc...

Hse reno progress

reno started ard early May..

STILL renovating now...

apparently, hacking n the laying of tiles got delayed n pushed back the whole schedule for 2 wks..

since parents in law already signed agreement to rent out current hdb on 5/7..

means we die die have to move out by 4/7..

ID say can be done...

pray hard..

am starting to feel abit excited abt moving...

YingLing Wedding 5-6-2011

one of my longest best fr's wedding...

known her since JC time...

we "geng" in PE lesson, in test etc..

we will fake not well while running for PE lesson,

will hide inside toilet while joggin rounds, then come out only after at the last round etc..

soooo funny!

we very synchronise in comparing answers for test etc...

like will hold test paper high high,

will put eraser at different corners of table, representing A/B/C/D ans etc..

haha...

ya ya.. those were the days...

1st cold dish is served separately..

unique way... n portion is alot leh..

taste nice too...

the captain is a "ang mo"!

Chilli Onion prevent rain?! dragonboat FUN 1-6-2011

its organisation's outing cum meeting day..

as usual.. i brought this!

keke.. now its name is "Jomei's chilli-onion"..

after the dragon boating, there's big big pouring..

all of us was like "wah. lucky just now didnt rain"..

i came to know abt this from here..

i brought on sand castle day too..

so far so good..
