NUS Graduates

Few wks ago, grandma ask me to send her to ah ting's graduation...

i'm very happy cos its the 1st time ah ma made a request & 1st time sitting in my car...

So the day come... 9th july 2009.

morning went to fetch grandma, ah ting n uncle n wife...

While on way to NUS, a uncle LTA TP stop my car!

I din speed ah.. its my 1st time stopped by TP man...

then he say my exhaust very loud.. wana chk the cert..

it's original JDM STI !! sports car is like tat loud one ma...

anyway no mod.. so not scared.. jus tat rushing for time...

Tat TP duno anything abt car.. argghhh...

Uncle told TP tat we rushing for time to convocation..

lucky the TP quite nice.. he let us go..

anyway this TP frequent Boon lay to AYE(tuas) area... my uncle say..

Disappointed Hi-Tea

Had a disappointed hi Tea today..
went New York New York..

ordered waffle with chocolate ice-cream...
taste normal la...

Then under finger food, i ordered some cheese fondue thing...
super sad...
its deep fried cucumber, 2 mushrooms, brinjal etc..
& its cost $9.90!

pls dun order this in future... super no worth..
& also its all deep fried in dip in cheese...
not nice...

Recently closed a big case..
its a company buying plans for almost 200 employee...

This whole wk have been bz running communication sessions with them...
2 sessions everyday + running ard settling some admin things...

been bz with comm sessions such tat i din really have time to call/meet clients for reviews...

This little girl is only 4 yrs old...
contracted 4th stage cancer
Her mum is in fact my fr's friend...
such cases is usually seen on tv..
never expect tat it happen jus around my cicle of frs..

She need at least S$500,000 for the treatment...

Camera spoil-travel ins can claim

Another travel insurance claim experience by my client...
she was overseas.. then her camera jus suddenly spoil...
she din drop it nor is it stolen...

when she's back to sg, she tried to claim from her travel insurance...
& her claim is approved...
she jus state the truth tat her camera suddenly spoilt....
she sent to the repair centre for repair & the repair fee is claimed..

Funny hor..
such simple scenario can be claimed...
But she bought the more expensive package...

Moral of sharing
-Must buy travel insurance
-Buy good package... dun go for cheap one.. else cannot claim..

Charger

Recently, dear's hp battery die real fast...
then HY said tat using car hp charger will spoil the battery..
cos of different frequency/power input etc...
Also dun charge HP too long hrs... batt will spoil too..

Dear's ipod battery also got problem...
cos we use a 3rd party charger...
instead of using the laptop to charge ipod, i use a main socket kind of charger..

When we send for repair, the lady say better dun anyhow use... else batt will spoil...
so eventually we went to buy original ipod socket charger...

Moral of sharing
1) Dun use car charger to charge hp
2) Dun charge hp overnite..
3) always use original charger

Another cancer claim experience

Finally..
my aunt's breast cancer can claim liao...
its carcinoma-in-situ..
hence can claim $10,000 under our PruSmartLady benefit..

i'm getting more n more experience in claims!
mum's cancer,
fr's hospitalization 100%,
small accident claim etc...

i feel satisfied & fulfilled with my career!!

M'sia/Genting trip 23-26 june 2009

Its my 1st time going inside a 'tu tu' train stn..
this is the coffeeshop beside the track..

still bearable.. cos not many passengers..

our train ride takes ard 6-7 hrs..

There's a New zealand couple with a 2 yr old girl...

Ang MOs really dun care much abt their kid..

She run ard at freewill, eat n get dirty is also ok..

put her bear on floor to play...

i definitely wont allow this oh..

but she's still cute la...

Hmmm different culture oh..

1st day, we stay over mum-in-law's sis hse...

nxt day, we went to dear's 外婆's coffeeshop...

its quite popular in their area.. n biz is very good...

the coffeeshop has been ard for more than 60 yrs..

had been thru 2nd world war...

generate income for 3-4 generations of family..

Being a city person.. i'm curious with everything there...

i even gana sun burnt when we r out in sun..

the coach is very cold though..

she's very 好客 & 友善...

this is a must try when in genting...

quite exciting n fun..

good experience oh...

its abt Ringgit 38 + dvd recording-Ringgit 20 i think.

its a empty room..

the floor is wire-mash...

so to allow super strong wind to blow me up..

the 1st round is abt 3min..

i'm in wrong posture so end up keep knocking here n there...

gana blue-black leh..

2nd round is ard 5-10min ba...

lost track of timing inside cos too focus on holding my posture...

anyway this round is better... at least can float myself..

haaa shd try when there...

all geared up!

mostly played children's rides..

cos accompany sis n kids..

there's turbo drop kid's version.. haha..

i tried it in HK in jan...

for me.. its very scary... but i wana try once to know how it feels like...

HK one is taller than genting..

so far i dare not try roller coaster oh..

take note this water ride got certain height n weight limit one..

not every1 can play...

the whole 2 hrs, i keep massaging...

we also went to "Ridley believe it or not"museum...
